I was going to ask “hey, is there an status update on changes” but here you are moving quicker than lightning. Thanks for the update.

  2. Knightmare says:

Works great! What are the “Recommended Pages” though? I don’t remember seeing them.

  3. hooky says:

    Thanks for that quick update!

  4. Dale Anne says:

    THANKS!
Still am seeing “Now friends with” posts…..

  5. Scott says:

THANK YOU for keeping this alive!
I was getting worried as I haven’t seen an update recently.

I’ve been using “Better Facebook” recently as it had some more features that FeedFilter didn’t have. However I really hate Better Facebook because they completely changed the options around and made it confusing to set up. and plus, it really slows down my computer and sometimes freezes it whenever I get on facebook. So I am glad that you have updated your extension so I can get rid of theirs and re-enable yours!

    Thanks for the great work!
If you had a PayPal button I would donate!!!

    Hi,
I’m suddenly seeing Farmville and frontierville activity and other junk applications even though I have the “Hide Posts from Applications” checked and they are not in the “allowed” list.
    Any idea why?

    Thx,
    aajim

  8. Stormy says:

Thank you so much for the update – I thought I was going to go mad without it – FB is fairly useless without.

  9. Thanks for all the hard work you do. I think you do a great job of keeping up with the ever changing facebook.

  10. Robert says:

    Thank you!

  11. Linda Belk says:

Thank you for the new up-dated version and for your hard work trying to make us happy, but I still am having a problem with my chosen app, Mafia Wars, having the posts pop up and then immediately fade away, being replaced by chit-chat that I want to move to the bottom of the page. I think Facebook is “messin’” with us! Hope to see my game app show up when the FeedFilter is on soon!

  12. Traci Dennis says:

Thank you for keeping up this add-on! I hate reading Facebook without it!!

  13. Lisa Anne Meredith says:

Thank you so very much for fixing the “so and so is now friends with” problem. I really appreciate all your hard work.

  14. James says:

Thank you for this! I’ve been a fan of the Feed Filter for quite some time now. Small recommendation though — I’d like to be a way of removing the “[someone] liked [something] on [another website]” things that have been popping up all over FB recently… but I understand that it might be a bit difficult, given that people are going to other websites, “liking” things, and then that websites posts their “liking” of it plus the thing itself onto their friends’ news feeds. So yeah, might be a bit complicated!

Thanks, though… it’s certainly made my FB profile and news feed a lot tidier. :)

  15. John says:

I downloaded the new update and Version 2.02 and now the posts do not expand anymore like they used too and I cant get it back to the way it was, I need help!

  16. Lynda says:

Having same problem as above and won’t stay on recent news. I am going to drop FB all together is this is going to be the future use. Is there anyway I can get the 1.4. version back instead?

  17. terri says:

Same problem. This is really annoying. I have to click on similar posts to open them. What is the fix for this?

  18. Mike says:

Thank you so much for providing this great application. FYI, “recommended pages” are once again appearing in the sidebar. I wish Facebook would leave things alone so that your app would continue to work without you needing to tweak it so frequently. Thanks for the good work that you do.

  19. Matt says:

Has feed filter just stopped working??

Feed Filter…This was a great Add on, very much appreciated but now ALL my recent activity is back on my facebook to see, new friends, whos walls I posted to etc, basically FF is not doing the one thing I wanted it to…get rid of the RECENT ACTIVITY which is the worst and stupidest thing for FB to have, talk about invasion of privacy for all to see! hope you can sort it soon. thanks.

  20. Cathy says:

Thanks, couldn’t figure out why I was seeing them all of a sudden. Have downloaded newest.

  21. Sreyam says:

I have a updated version but Recent Activity is back again on my Facebook.

  22. dh1art says:

from the first time i found this addon, i’m instantly felt in luv. too bad this addon not work for opera. any suggestion for opera friend?

  23. Brian says:

This is a wonderful addon for Firefox. You get rid of everything the mighty Ad Block Plus cannot. Especially that recommended pages.

Thanks for all your hard work.

  24. Paul McGehee says:

How’s it going with Google Chrome functionality?
Why do I ask when it still works well with Chrome?…I reckon my question is more to hear any feedback regarding Chrome and also to get the Chrome version update link…
May I have the link, please?
Thank you and thank you for your work.

  25. Kathrina Sørensen says:

since this newest got installed… I can’t filter my feed any more… :(
My apps are not showing in the left meny to sort by either …
How can I get previous version back?

  26. Dan says:

I have noticed that the filter is not working for me anymore now. Did FB change their coding?

  27. XGear says:

Is there any possible to upda the file apps_ since this filter work very well. but the add apps link need to be updated. i need filter link…
My empire, hotel city, ghost trappers.
since the manual adding ex. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?filter=app_xxxxxx not working very well for me.

  28. Aaron says:

How do you hide “Fan Page Post”?, they are getting on my last nerve and I don’t see a option for it. I’ve hid everything else, but that.

  29. Lisa says:

Is it just me or are the posts on the individual apps not working? Most of the time I don’t get anything and if I do get something it’s one or 2 posts.

  30. Joe says:

Great extension, thanks! Would love to see it updated to block the new “questions” ‘feature’ as well! :)

  31. Michael Stone says:

The toolbar feature doesn’t work at all. Might be nice to get feedback or something about how to fix it. Feed Filter is very buggy when it’s enabled on pages other than Facebook. And that toolbar would be nice for disabling Feed Filter on non-Facebook pages.
If I can’t get Feed Fiilter working, I’ll have to remove it, because of the massive bug problems.

  32. Jarod says:

Seems as facebook has broken it, at least for me. Nothing is hidden anymore. Facebook may have changed something.

  33. Josh says:

Same for me. I still see recommended pages, sneak peek, and get connected

  34. DarkDreemer says:

Hi! Thanks for the filter. It still makes FB better to use. Lately I could see all other app post but now they’re gone. Sadly it seems that the right sidebar options are not working. I’ve tried several ways but I only get two result. One is that I can’t see nothing nor on the side nor on the middle. And the other one it that I can see everything on the side the ones as well I checked to hide or move to center. Keep up the good work.

  35. Mike Hunt says:

I love this add on. But it’s no longer hiding anything on the sidepane. I look forward to the next update.

  36. Grace says:

Yeah, some things are working, but not all. I got the 2.0.3 update manually (it did not find an Update through Firefox) I am still seeing “xxxx is friends with…” posts.

  37. Grace says:

oh, and I second the question, are you working on ff for Goodle Chrome??
