Feed Filter 2.2.16

New in this version:

  • Added a feature to hide the new “Ticker” in the right sidebar.
  • Added support for hiding more boxes such as “Find More Friends” and “Deals” in the right sidebar.

    Now if you could just get around all those ads. I know…not possible, but a gal can dream! :)

    Thank you! They must have removed the ticker though as I don’t see it anymore and haven’t installed the new release yet.
    “Was tagged in a post” is not hidden. A friend was just tagged in 25 photos……so annoying. Can’t wait for 2.2.17….PLEASE INCLUDE!!!

    What is so pathetic is that none of the facebook changes enhance the experience at all. The changes are so annoying, every time.

    I noticed when using the news feed for a list of specific friends, FB now displays “list suggestions”, friends to add to the list. Have you thought about adding that to the list of sidebar things to hide?

    This is a great add-on, please keep up the great work.

    can u tell me please, does this HIDE the ticker or BLOCK the ticker ? I’m having a problem because the ticker is using my bandwidth & causing me to exceed my allowance each month & so far every addon I’ve tried “hides” it but the usage continues, I need something that will stop it from using up my bandwidth. If this won’t, do you possibly know if something that might ?
