Just an update: app posts are still disappearing off my news feed when I have feedfilter enabled. My app posts do still show on my personal wall (though not on the newsfeed as well).

Love this add-on! Would love it if you could add Friends Photos blocking as well. It’s another annoying box that pops up in several places that shoves more stuff in my face that I am not interested in seeing. Why does facebook not offer these as options to block? Why do they insist on cluttering up my facebook experience? arg.

I am seeing a friend’s status on my feed and she and her friends have been talking about new changes affecting newsfeed and other features.

    *sigh*

    Poor Russell. Poor FeedFilter :(

I would love to see an option to remove the new “Top Stories” Facebook just added. Totally blows.

I agree with Ron, and also to be able to hide the new sidebar which displays everything everyone on my friends list do on FB..

Line…..if you have this version of FeedFilter operating, it should hide that sidebar ticker and the ones in various games. Also, turning off the new popup chat list will take care of the ticker scrolling from the top of it. I hope Russell can deal with all these new issues. It’s a lot to take on all at once. :)

I downloaded the feed filter, but now what? I am using modzilla firefox, but when I click on open the file or use the file it asks me to either use a program from my computer or windows explorer to open the file!?! I am trying to get the old version back, no zynga does not give US, the user the choice whether or not we want the change. And if they do post an message ontop of your game, there is no “decline” or “dislike” or “no” button to choose from…I had to accept changes I did not want, because the only button they had was “ok” and to go on with your game, YOU HAVE TO CLICK THE “OK” BUTTON…that is not fair, to force changes on an individual!!! We are supposed to live in a “FREE” Country, that means WE can HAVE choices…but facebook is not letting us have choices, neither does Zynga!!!

Recently, there are links going around that are effectively feed filters.

Here’s one for Farmville for example:

Looks like there’s a way to find all those app IDs and add them to the left bar, kind of like what we had about two years ago.

Is there any way to filter the “Welcome” page, demanding that you add friends? This just started recently, and i’m about ready to delete my account, already!
