The First time i run FSSPYSHOST

it says master server updated plz refresh

when i do refresh this happens:

error 12007 getting server list from master server.

(translated to english)-> Isnt Possible to Procces name or ?IP? from the server

I'm getting the same for the first time today and I have been running this for three years! I can not get my FSHost to run either. IS there a server problem?

Hi guys,

Yes, I'm seeing that too.  It appears that West Coast ATC's servers are having some kind of internet problem at the moment, and that's where the Master Server is right now.  I'm not able to get to their main web server either.

This affects FSHostSpy (it won't be able to get a list of FSHost servers) and also FSHost (you'll get an error saying it wasn't able to register with the Master Server).  You can still connect to an FSHost server if you know its IP address though.

I'll check with West Coast ATC and see if they're aware of the problem.  I'll let you know when I hear something.

Many thanks.........................I had done everything possible with my computer except through it out the window in frustration.    Glad its not me, I can relax now. 

Hope you can sort the problem................wish I could help but alas not.

Looks like West Coast ATC's servers are back up now, and I see that the Master Server is running ok now also.  Seems they were down for scheduled maintenance.

I know they are helping you out at the moment with the server issue but it was down for a long time, if they could post on the forum next time there is a scheduled outage it may cause people a little less headache.

I'm certainly glad that none of my hosting services ever go down for "scheduled maintenance".
I wonder what they do? Rotate the tires, change the oil?
Or is that another misleading message like "The Host has disconnected you"  ???
