Wish List...weather transitions

This might actually be an easy thing to do.....

When the weather is changed from one setting (clear) to another (gray and rainy), have the transition gradual. If the barometer was 30.03 and it's being changed to 28.76 then instead of just sending the new value, send a gradual change over a minute or two. Same with winds and other settings.

Using the above barometer example and winds from 0 to 10, send a weather packet with 30.02, winds 1, then 10 seconds later send 30.01 and 2 then another 10 seconds laster 30.00 and 3, etc, etc until the new weather is established.

Changing the weather too suddenly can have a bad effect on a flight. Just imagine your on final and the barometer suddenly jumped from 30.34 to 28.45. That would be instant death for that pilot :) (I guess it's a good thing that FS doesn't simulate vertical winds)

Ouch.  Ouch.  Ouch.  That's the sound of my head hurting ;-)

No, seriously, I think it's a great idea, but actually it's not quite as easy as it sounds.  A bit beyond what I can do for now, but I'll add it to my "good ideas" list :-)

Sounds like that'll have to come after the new FS weather format is known.
