Recently, a few of us have started using FSHost and very much like it. However, we can only see small props, not the real plane that others are flying. We installed a large number of FLAi aircraft in our C/Program Files/ Lockheed Martin/Prepar3dv4/ Simobjects/ Aircraft Folder but still no luck.

I looked at a post on this forum from a couple of years ago, and  learned how to get the debug messages:

So – it is looking, but can't find it. How do we point FSHost to the correct folder?? Thanks

Russell Gilbert

Hi,

FSHostClient is having trouble finding where the aircraft files are located on your hard drive, so it can scan them. It's looking in the registry for the location but it's not finding the entry it needs.

Prepar3D changed the location of the registry entry at one point, so I changed FSHostClient to match it in version 1.5b3, which you're using. However, I'd suggest going back to FSHostClient 1.4 to see if it finds the location, since it looks for the old registry entry, which might be correct on your machine.

Thanks,
Russell

Can you somehow point the scan tool where you want it to scan btw?
