Hi guys,

I have a problem. I made an 24/7 server at home (ip 192.168.1.101 with fshost. Everybody can Join (sometimes 25 at once, but I cannot join the game. I found the session, but it stucks at connecting. It is in the same network (192.168.1.100) Ip is 62.131.236.14. No firewall, router settings good ( i think) It is a Linksys Router.... Tried to set off Virusscanner....Did not work...Can somebody, please, help me?!?

Thanks in advance.

Alex

btw: On the server I host a MSN Gaming room to (room 7) so everybody can find the game....A TS server is active to....

Hi Alex
try connecting to your external IP instead of the internal one - maybe that works. The problem is generally that your second PC - in your private 192.x network - is not accessable from the outside (that needs to be possible for you to connect to a session with other players).

Another possibility (I do this sometimes in the office, where I have my server) would be to go back to a dialup for either your server or your computer. That way you're connecting just the same as the other players. It feels really stupid (having broadband and connecting to your own server through a dialup :D), but works perfectly.

Maybe one of the guys here has a better solution? :)

Alex, Sounds like a firewall issue if people connect but it hangs or has problems in that arena. ---

You may wish to make sure all machines either the ICF (Internet Connection Firewall if XP has appropriate open ports). Otherwise whatever the server is.. You'll need to ensure everything is opened properly.  You may wish to post details about what OS, etc.. the server is  and what clients are trying to connect ie. what version of direct x on client machines etc.

Yea, I am trying to connect to my server threw ATC Radar Screen and I changed the connect/host port to "23455" but I still cant connect. I try'd connecting to my external (gave other people the external ip and they conected fine), tryed 192.168.1.100...alot of the 192.168's. Still nothing. Firewall I did turn off, still nothing.
