Help needed (part 2) same problem!!!!! its bck

I CANT BELIVE IT, i have had this program for less than 2 weeks and this problem will NOT go away i am getting sick of FShost and am thinking about droping the program all together, yet again i am getting the error: ERROR creating FS2004 session. DirectX is reporting an error because UDP port 6073 is already in use. This can often be fixed by disabling your firewall or reconfiguring it to allow this port to be used by FSHost. McAfee's PrivacyService can also cause this problem. Some users have also reported that disconnecting their router from the internet before starting FSHost can fix the problem.

and once again i have no firewalls enabled or macafees security, and am now getting very annoyed   can someone help??

i mean i have got it running for less then a day and then it comes up with the error again!!! rediculous

Sounds like you can't catch a break, here.  I know the 6073 error is a Direct X error, not FSHost.  It has something to do with how MS handles the Direct X & port 6073, but I can't remember where I read that.  It's here in the forum somewhere, just can't remember where.

You might search on "6073" and see if any of the prior posts offer any help. . .

If you are running Windows XP, 2000 or server 200x, you can look in the Windows Event Log located under Control Panel/Administrative Tools.

Should list as a application or system error and tell you more about the problem.

Suggestions do not work Port testing shows no faults I am at an end point.
