Belkin Router
« on: September 20, 2006, 04:44:06 PM »

Hi,  ive been having some major problems trying to connect to the master server and getting other people to connect, i've played around opening ports, trying the ip from http://www.whatismyipaddress.com/  and the IP the router says which is completely different,

I've managed to get all three of the error messages and nothing seems to work  ???

i can open the page on my computer that lists who is online the flightplans ect (i.e typing the IP in), but nobody else can,

I've noticed some other people having probs with belkin routers, is there anybody using one who could help?

Hi Andrew,

Sorry, I don't have a Belkin router, but have you tried the Port Forward web site yet?  Try going here, select your router, and then follow the instructions for FS2004.

http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm

You should probably forward all of these ports if you want to cover everything:

FS2002:
TCP 47624
UDP 2300 to 2400

FS2004:
UDP 23456
UDP 6073
UDP 2302 to 2400 (not needed if already forwarding for FS2002)

Remote (web) Access:
TCP 80

Good luck,
Russell
