server rental?
« on: November 30, 2009, 04:22:36 AM »

Does anyone still rent fshost servers anymore? I know at one time there was one company that rented an fshost server for $2.00 a slot.

Our VA used to rent FSHost & Teamspeak servers from Online Stomping Grounds, but now we rent a VPS (Virtual Private Server) & host two FSHost servers & a Teamspeak server.  It's halved the cost for us & we're in control of how many slots we need, if we need more than what I've already configured I just ramp it up.

You really need to know what you're doing if you take that route though.

Hi, that website doesn't appear to be active anymore so I guess it’s only fair that I know post this.

I have been running a Flight Simulation Community for a while now and we offer the following services free of charge to "Flight Sim Groups and Virtual Airlines"
  • Free Teamspeak 3 Server
  • Free Teamspeak 2 Server
  • Free FSHost Server
  • Free Website Help
  • Free Help & Advice

Techy - We have a good connection (low ping), on 24/7 and FTP access for FSHost file editing.

Now I guess what your thinking is what’s the catch, sorry to say there is none. We are a Freeware Non-Profit community, meaning we have no ads on your service, and don't ask for your money. My main condition is that you use the server (your service) daily.

I have been in the Flight Sim world now for a good couple of years and used to run a server for a va, but I decided I wanted to do more than that so I setup this website and had quite a lot of interest so far.

Check out our website at -
